Develop the overall layout and production design of packaging for Kiss Products; design cost-effective packaging for Kiss products from conception to completion using several graphic design software packages including 3DS Max and Dreamweaver MX; monitor, analyze, and test market studies to evaluate in-market performance including packaging strategy, advertising, promotion, and public relations; collect data on customer preference and cosmetic packaging trend; provide timely response to a broad range of questions related to consumer behavior.

Requirement:
Master’s degree in graphic design, communication design, advertisement design, or other relevant field. At least 6 months working experience in package design required. Must be Proficient in 3DS Max and Dreamweaver MX.

Job Description

Summary:
This position will be responsible for the development, management and execution of all sales strategy and education for the AST brand. The position will report to and work in alliance with the National Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will deliver sales volume and market share of salon accounts. He or She will also be responsible for developing salon account business that grows both horizontal and vertical distribution. The ultimate goal is to develop and execute successful long-term business building strategies while creating strong relationships with distributors, Sales Consultants and Salon Owners.

Responsibilities:
• Achieve all sales and education goals while building a positive brand image
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly distributor sales meetings
• Communicate and partner with key salons delivering both technical and concept related information and assist in the development and coordination of the training of Sales Consultants and Store Sales Teams.
• Increase sales volume by mentoring DSC’s in the field implementing best practices
• Ensure success and acceleration of new doors
• Coordinate communication flow between DSC’s, Distributors and National Sales Manager.
• Assist in developing regional and national education and sales plans.

Sales Coordinator

Summary:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for order processing and the extraordinary customer service with a focus on building relationships to promote repeat and new customer sales to professional hair stylists. Tasks include supporting the sales manager, acting as liaison between customers and sales & operations in the company and communicating with customers and all related cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain in depth knowledge of AST’s professional products in order to answer questions from distributors, sales consultants and salon owners.
• Responsible for engaging, educating and assisting customers with a positive attitude
• Discovers the customers needs with probing questions
• Reinforces the customers selection by reviewing the benefits of the product chosen
• Process Sales Orders
• Respond to general email questions from stylists and consumers and consult with them on their product choices.


Requirements:
• Cosmetology License (Current or Expired) preferred or equivalent work experience in hair styling
• A social butterfly that is able to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to use a competitive spirit to achieve sales goals
• A very positive, friendly and patient attitude when assisting customers on the phone

Director of Sales

Job Description:

The Director of Sales is responsible for the cosmetic and/or beauty care electronics product sales in domestic markets. He/She is responsible for aggressively growing the revenues through the development and implementation of sales strategies, and the management of the current and future sales force. This position will report to the COO of the company.

• Develop a rolling 3 years’ sales strategy for long term sales expansion
• Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Develop and maintain a domestic network of distributors and buyers
• Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets
• Negotiate annual agreement with distributors, buying groups and chain stores
• Plan and conduct product sales training programs
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers in order to monitor relationship, re-affirm strategies linked to needs, and steward the business

The position is based in Port Washington, Long Island (this is not a remote position)

Requirements:
• 10+ years experience in a sales position taking care of domestic market
• Strong sales experience dealing with mass chain retailer distributors in domestic is required
• 10+ years experience working in the cosmetic or personal care mass market industry
• Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
• Must be willing and able to travel for meetings and trade shows
• Education : Bachelors Degree, MBA referable

Sr. Package Designer

Job Description:

This position involves producing an interesting variety of packaging and strong production skills. Responsible for initial design explorations, concept refinement, and final production files. Responsibilities also include the accuracy of job request files, effective designs, meeting multiple concurrent deadlines, and building/maintaining successful relationships with internal staffs and customers.

• Responsible for original design solutions, implementation and execution. Use creative design to help solve complex challenges on packaging, point of purchase materials, displays, and presentation materials, and stay within the current brand guidelines.

• Working with Product Strategy team and Marketing team to create and modify artwork that meets their approval, while maintaining the integrity of our product.

• Responsible for graphic design of sales and marketing materials including but not limited to packaging sell sheets, presentation templates, merchandisers and catalogs. Work with the product strategy teams, sales, marketing and any other necessary teams to produce high-quality.

• Work with the team to create the proofing and approval process, and manage the approval process for all artwork projects.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Design or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 + years of consumer product design and packaging experience
• Demonstrated excellence in design, creative thought, problem solving and the creative ability to imagine and demonstrate ideas.
• Superior skills in Mac functions, Illustrator, PhotoShop and Acrobat software programs.
• Solid planning & organizational skills, including a pro-active ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Portfolio that shows extensive packaging experience.
